AJAX Vs RESTful API
Lets talk about AJAX and Restful API endpoints and how we can use these to communicate to external web services.
REST stands for Representational State Transfer. This is the transfer of data which can be cached and is stateless.
Both AJAX and REST can work together. A RESTful API endpoint could be requested via AJAX which in turn updates the page asynchronously. However there are times when it may be best when AJAX is not used.
In this video I am going to talk about all of this and more.
